St Michael's Mount a beautiful tidal island in Cornwall in based in the South coast in Mount's Bay, Marazion. This was a place that I have wanted to visit for a while but not during the tourist peak.

Cornwall certainly has some amazing coastland and some beautiful views, and if you follow the coastal path, you are certain to find something to amaze.

Some fun facts... Did you know that St Michaels Mount is one of 43 un-bridged tidal islands in Britain? That the Cornish name for it is Karrek Loos yn Koos, which means "hoar rock in woodland". St Michael's Mount is thought to have been the site of a monastery from the 8th to the early 11th centuries, but has been the home of the St Aubyn family since approximately 1650.
