South Stack Lighthouse...
South Stack in Anglesey is a place I have wanted to visit for a while, and it didn’t let me down.
I got the position of the sun wrong to what I wanted (But was only there for the day), but when I saw the way it blew out the sky to highlight the lighthouse itself, I had to capture the shot.
It was a little bit of a waiting game, as is most landscape photography, but in my eyes it had to be done.
The cliffs at South Stack support large colonies of seabirds (guillemots, razorbills and puffins etc all breed on the cliffs) and are looked after by the RSPB.
I will certainly be back there to explore more of the coast and must-see landscapes.
